Hello, I’m Shevon, a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of healthcare experience. My career began at BC Children’s Hospital, where I spent five years in the Emergency Department caring for infants, children, and families.
Wanting to provide more proactive, relationship-based care, I earned my Master of Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Athabasca University in 2020. I then worked in a Primary and Urgent Care Clinic in British Columbia, providing comprehensive care for patients across all stages of life before relocating to Calgary with my family.
As a mother of two, my own experiences navigating health challenges have reinforced the importance of taking the time to listen, understand, and care for the whole person. These experiences shaped my commitment to delivering thoughtful, integrated care that considers physical health, lifestyle, hormones, mental well-being, and long-term wellness.
I am certified in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and IV iron infusions. My areas of special interest include women’s health, hormone health, thyroid disorders, pediatrics, breastfeeding support, and postnatal care.
My approach is rooted in partnership, education, and comprehensive assessment. I believe patients deserve the time and support needed to feel heard, empowered, and confident in their healthcare decisions.
